Gas Prices may impact real estate choices

According to a recent Coldwell Banker real estate professional survey, rising gas prices may have influenced home buyers to "look for homes that offer shorter commute times to work".
Most urban centres in Canada require the use of a vehicle, but things are slowly starting to change. Canadians are showing a greater interest in home-based business than ever before. For those working outside the home, many newer communities are focusing on cutting down the commute time by having amenities close by; the idea of a little city contained within the larger city is appealing.

Clients we speak with are very much for using their vehicles less {whenever possible}. As a result, they too are saving on gas and several have mentioned the increased "community feel" that comes with getting to know the neighbourhood a little better, on foot.

A sense of community is a great feeling!
Have a wonderful day.
